SPOS #95 - Podcasting To The Community

Welcome to episode #95 of Six Pixels Of Separation - The Twist Image Podcast. Whoops! I totally screwed up the intro and said, "welcome to episode #85" - I have no idea what I was thinking. Actually, that's not true - I think I botched it because I have tons on my mind. Including the state of Podcasting (are you really listening?) and the power of Blogging (hint: it's very powerful). There are also some great audio comments about how to stimulate action in online social networks and more. Enjoy the conversation...

Here it is: Six Pixels Of Separation - The Twist Image Podcast - Episode #95 - Host: Mitch Joel.

  • Thanks Mitch! Yeah, I think we've probably beaten the Scrabulous thing to death. :-) I wanted to note that I recorded this before you played Christian Scholz's great comment from last week which covered much of the same ground, but thanks for indulging me anyway. Us bald guys indeed do have to stick together. ;-)

Speaking of which, VERGEL Evans is actually will e's instead of i's (unusual I know!) and the Tubemogul post I was referring to is at:

Also thanks for the Media Driving plug, episode 4 will be out in a couple of days and I'm actually blogging pretty regularly on as well.

Every Sunday, I look forward to listening show when I working. Almost every episode, I get solid take always of software, tips or people I want to explore. Example, right now I am playing with video. TubeMogul was exactly was I was looking for and I got it from your show.

My only comment who be to push more advanced strategies or marketing concepts and provide specific examples. For me, I understand search, the long tail and the concepts most people talk about. I get inspired when I hear things that are completely new, different or unique to internet marketing.

  • Hi, Mitch. Seems to me that your show is doing just fine. You're getting tons of comments, which is proof that people are listening. Unless you feel the show is getting stale, and are less motivated to do it, keep going the way you are. Not all changes are improvements!

I started listening to your podcast Jan. '08. I do enjoy them, have learned a few things and certainly have been turned onto additional Marketing & Communication resources.

Thanks and please keep it going.
