SPOS #202 - Media Hacks #28

Welcome to episode #202 of Six Pixels Of Separation - The Twist Image Podcast. This is also episode #28 of Media Hacks. In prepping for the launches for both Trust Agents and Six Pixels of Separation business books, Chris Brogan, Julien Smith and I decided to hold half-day events titled, Building Trust In A Connected World Summit. This past week, we celebrated the last event of this mini-book tour in Salt Lake City, Utah. The night before the event we recorded (in person) this latest episode of Media Hacks... and hack away we did. Everything from privacy and the iPad to digital out-of-home advertising and the proximity Web. As you have come to expect, Media Hacks is not safe for work, but it is chock-full of passionate debate and conversation about Social Media, technology and the changing face of Marketing. Enjoy the conversation...

I can't play this. I have tried several times over several days. Recorder says "Paused" when I start it. Is it on my end, or is there an issue with this episode?

Thanks for another great conversation Mitch. I am thankful to of finally received my Media Hacks fix! What's most enjoyable about your podcast is the healthy mix of entertainment and information. Often times I find myself listening the first time for the entertainment. The second time for the information and a third time to catch anything I might have missed.

Btw, I'm not an elitist senior level marketer from New York. I'm a recent college graduate from Ohio. So your blog does reach the little people.

Well my inability to play this is a head scratcher. I'm a long time listener and have never had trouble, and I can still listen to other podcasts. I did download a piece of software called Call Graph that might have changed some audio settings...but as I say it hasn't effected my ability to play other podcasts.

If anyone has any ideas let me know.

OK. When I click the "Here it is" link I can play it...but not from the player. Weird.

@Jack I had problems listening to it through the player as well. I ended up having to click on the "download" button and was able to listen to it through Windows Media Player.

What an epic episode, really. From the looseness of the conversation to the content. I enjoyed this one a lot, down to Julien's primal "fuck you're right".
