It was Paris Hilton's T-Mobile Sidekick - not a Blackberry - that got jacked. I should have known. Look how quick I was to turn on my favorite piece of technology. I hope my Blackberry, and all the fine, upstanding Blackberry power-users (Crackberries), will not hold this indiscretion against me.
I am going to thumb-text "I Will Not Mention Paris Hilton T-Mobile Sideckick Again" 500 times into the Notes section of my Blackberry.
P.S. They also jacked Limp Bizkit's frontman, Fred Durst's, Sidekick and uploaded some of his "home movies" to the web. The big question is: are these two still celebrities? I guess so, I'm dumb enough to mention them.
P.P.S. If you're interested in mobile marketing - it is incidents like these, for good or bad, that are helping to lead adoption toward critical mass. As a mobile marketer you now have to focus on security, opt-in and all those other fun battles.
