I am often asked, especially lately, how I have so much time to read? I created The Montreal Business Book Club, but a while back I found it extremely challenging to read each month's business book club selection and I found myself falling behind.
About six months ago, I was approached by a close friend, who had been quite involved in the Dan Sullivan Strategic Coach program for many years, about starting a Montreal Goal Cultivator Community. I had fallen in love with the Dan Sullivan CD set, How The Best Get Better, and thought this Montreal Goal Cultivator Community would be a great idea.
With a small group, we initiated our sessions almost three months ago and the changes in my life have been overwhelming. I'm not going to roll through the personal details but two goals - one, to get back a semblance of a regular workout regime and two, to read The Montreal Business Book Club selection - are really working out (pardon the pun). During my fifty minute bike routine I read. The result: I feel great and, more importantly, I have read about fifteen books in a couple of months.
I had never taken the initiative to write down my goals before. It's been very powerful. The Montreal Goal Cultivator Community offers me the ability to spend about three hours every ninety days to work on my next ninety days. The results are shining through.
