Is It Bad That This Is The Number One Search Result For "Marketing" On YouTube?

I was floating through YouTube looking for a specific online video. I couldn't find it, so I did what I swore I would never do and entered the single-word search term: "marketing". Bill Hicks is a brilliant comedian (probably one of the best), and this is the first result (warning: lots of swearing - this is not work-safe) - Bill Hicks On Marketing:

If you have never hoped and prayed that Marketing is, indeed, changing away from these very real stereotypes, now might be a good time to start.

I'm going to go ahead and say, "Yes, it is bad that this is the number one result."

But it does reinforce the idea of how little control we have over our message and the way we communicate.

This doesn't surprise me at all. I'm talking to grad-students and young professionals in other fields all the time, and telling them you work in marketing is like telling them you're a baby-eating-neo-con.
