Geek Dinner Ottawa Next Wednesday - I Will Be There

As part of my never-ending journeys, I'll be in Ottawa next week speaking at the Government of Canada Communicators Conference (I'm doing both the opening keynote address and a two-hour workshop on Personal Branding). Robin Browne over at DaBizBlog caught wind and wrangled Canadian Podcast Buffet co-host, Mark Blevis, into hosting a Geek Dinner Ottawa.

Sounds like a plan.

If you're in Ottawa (or live near-by), please feel free to connect with Robin through his Blog and confirm your presence. It's all taking place on Wednesday, April 23rd at 6:30 pm at the Blue Cactus Bar and Grill located at 2 Byward Market.

I hope you can make it.

In other Mark Blevis news, Podcasters Across Borders is happening once again this year in Kingston, Ontario from June 20th - June 22nd, 2008. I am planning on attending, and looking forward to a weekend of audio insights and friendly banter. Leave it to Mark and Bob Goyetche to pull together such an amazing meet-up.

Good luck with the communicators conference. I might pop in at one point today to work our booth (CEPSM and CMG) depending on if I finish this strategy I'm working on. If I don't see you there, we'll chat tonight at dinner!

    Cheers,

    MK

    Hi Mitch,

Excellent presentation and very inspirational for the conference opening. Took lots of notes and I'm looking forward to not only heading back to Charlottetown and sharing your points with co-workers, but also looking forward to spending more time on your site reading/hearing more of what you have to say.

I've just signed up on linkedin.com - thanks for the resource!
