As I said earlier in the year, I was going to put together some interesting events for the Montreal Business Book Club this year. The first one will be based around Stephen Covey's groundbreaking book, The 7 Habits Of Highly Effective People.
On Tuesday, April 26th, 6:00 pm at Twist Image we will have a very special Montreal Business Book Club session. Tomas Bruun - the Danish Trade Commissioner - is a certified instructor/speaker for Mr. Covey's program and has agreed to do a 90-minute presentation on The 7 Habits Of Highly Effective People. Following that there will be a short break and then a one-hour open discussion on the book (Tomas has also agreed to stick around for the discussion). I have decided to open up the event to Montreal Business Book Club members and other people who I thought might be interested.
This is an amazing opportunity to learn, network and grow. After speaking with Tomas we have decided to charge $25 for this special session with all of the money being donated to charity. Twist Image will cover the basic costs of the event and Tomas has agreed to waive his presentation fees.
There is very limited space at Twist Image, so I am going to cap this event at 25 people. I will take RSVPs on a first-come, first-serve basis. You should also know that we will provide some basic snacks and beverages but it is encouraged to bring stuff as well. Also, if you confirm a space, you will be charged the $25. If you have to cancel, you can send a replacement, otherwise, due to demand and the fact that we will turn people away, I will require the payment.
