It's mostly funny because it is, almost absolutely, an inside joke (with many insiders). You can't enjoy Day Of The Longtail unless you're in new marketing and closely following this space. That makes it funny because somebody created this Consumer Generated Content for a sliver of a Slivercasting segment.
Regardless, it's like nerd humor for marketers, and it definitely made me laugh.
